Since 2006, The Old Triangle has been attracting a crowd for their live entertainment and pub fare. Located on Main Street in Moncton, New Brunswick, The Old Triangle wowed us in October 2018 with their steak pieces on top of those delicious kettle chips. When we returned in October 2022, we were surprised to see that the steak pieces were no longer an option. Currently (2022), if you want to add meat, the options are pulled pork and BBQ pulled chicken.

Distribution of Toppings
I was impressed with the distribution of toppings in 2018; however, it was not as impressive in 2022. There were some plain chips left over afterwards, and I would conclude that the chip-to-cheese ratio was about average.
Quality
The kettle chips were wonderfully crunchy, the veggies were fresh, and the toast factor was perfect. I really enjoyed the blended melted cheese on top of those delicious chips. I ordered the nachos without meat because the BBQ options they have are not my favorite. I really enjoy some good meat with some spice on it.
Value
The snack size nachos are $14 and the full size nachos are $21. If you want to add pulled pork or BBQ pulled chicken it is $6 extra. If you are having the veggie snack-sized nachos, the price is fair but I think the price is higher than average for the full size or for adding meat.
Quantity
I will have to tell you the truth. This was my second plate of nachos that night (shared). It was sufficient to share as a snack.
Conclusion
I am sad that some of the magic that we experienced in 2018 was gone when we visited in 2022 such as the meat options and the distribution of toppings. However, the quality was still really good and the value (for what we ordered) and quantity were decent as well. Overall, pretty good nachos.
