Moxie's Grill & Bar has around 70 locations across Canada. There is one location in New Brunswick, and it is located in Moncton on Wyse Street. I had nachos at Moxie's a few years ago; however, the picture was too dark and the accuracy of the review is questioned if the experience was longer than 2 years ago. We went to this location after 3 hours of exercise, so you have to consider my loss of appetite and my exhaustion when I came to Moxie's for this review.

I will say more in the value section of the blog, but I liked how the nachos automatically came with extra cheese. In addition, there was cheese left over after all the chips and the toppings were gone. Thus, there was a lot of cheese, veggies, and beef evenly distributed on the nachos.
Quality
I wrote to the chef at Moxie's and I also told the waiter at the time that Moxie's needed to have some sort of spice on the chips, because the taste was kind of plain. I came back three years later, and they did not implement my suggestion. I liked how there were large containers of dips; however, while the salsa and sour cream were tasty, the guacamole was nothing to write home about. The toppings and chips were fresh and in abundance; therefore, there was nothing to fault in that department when it came to quality.
Value
The Double Cheese Nachos for Two are $15 if you do not add anything else to them. That is the average price for veggie nachos, and keep in mind that you are not charged extra for the cheese. If you want to add beef or pulled chicken they are $5 extra, and to add guacamole they are $3 extra. Overall, I thought they were economical considering the amount of cheese and dips we received.
Quantity
This is where it gets tricky. I did not have a normal appetite during this extra cold February afternoon. If you have no appetite and share Moxie's nachos, you will be satisfied with the quantity. To be honest, I was surprised at the small amount considering what I received 3 years ago and considering that this was supposed to be nachos for two.
Conclusion
Moxie's Grill & Bar's competitive advantage is the economics portion when it comes to their nachos. However, if I want absolutely excellent nachos for a couple of dollars more in Moncton, I'm going to go to The Old Triangle. The people we went with suggested another place to try in Moncton and I'm open to all kinds of new possibilities in the great quest for the best nachos.
