This was my first time visiting Boston since I was a kid. That was long before I fell in love with these chips and cheese combinations. People have asked me if I had one of those big pretzels, pizza, or anything other than nachos on this trip. The truth is that we, as usual, mostly ate nachos on this wonderful long weekend in Boston at the beginning of the summer of 2024. Our first stop for nachos was the 4th Wall & Restaurant & Bar, which is located in the heart of downtown Boston just around the corner from the Boston Common.

Distribution of Toppings
The distribution of toppings was simply perfect along with an excellent chip-cheese ratio. Every chip had a mountain of flavorful toppings. These nachos were satisfying to the last bite.
Quality
The toppings on these crispy chips included lettuce and tomato along with a huge portion of tender medium rare steak. Additionally, there were pickled jalapeƱos that were just right in terms of spice level. The queso was made with a nice sharp cheese but I found the nachos to be very creamy with all the queso. There was no "traditional" melted cheese blend on these nachos and there was no toast factor to speak of. I liked how they used the same type of chips that you would find in a Mexican restaurant. The overall taste of the nachos was out of this world. All that to say, these are some high quality nachos.
Quantity
This was sufficient to share for supper; however we were not very hungry at the time because we had been snacking while travelling during the afternoon.
Value
The Sheet Pan nachos come to $16 USD. If you add chicken, it is $5 USD extra. If you add steak, it is $10 USD extra. If you add falafel, it is $7 USD extra. If you convert our nachos to CAD (approximate) they would be $35.47. It would appear pricey but based on the location and the quality, this is a fair price.
Service
The server was not around most of the time. We waited quite a while for someone to come get us seated and the server seemed a bit unfriendly, and we felt ignored for the most part. I do not like giving negative reviews of the service but it is an important factor in rating nachos since it does impact the overall experience when dining out.
Conclusion
These nachos had good distribution, high quality toppings, good value, and quantity. However, I found them to be overly creamy due to the queso. These should have some blended grated cheese on them with a reduced amount of queso. The cheese is the topping that is the heart of a plate of nachos and if the cheese is off, the whole thing is a little off. The service could have been better. Overall, it was a good experience and was a very satisfying first supper in Boston.
